Expansion and Compression

Perspective is always a difficult issue for me with photography; it's tough to gauge or notice things like expansion and compression just walking outside and taking photos. The idea is that as you get wider, the objects in the frame spread out, but as you go telephoto, the objects in the frame get closer together. Tonight, I perfectly lined up my subject twice at different focal lengths which really exhibits this technique.
